Thanks a ton for reading. I so appreciate our conversations. My ego took a hit at first when I realized I needed help. I had always been a DIYer. I am so glad I got over myself. The look on a client's face when the weight is lifted off their shoulders is priceless. Or that look when they come to a meeting with a huge grin because they conquered some great obstacle. I couldn't do any other work.
Lee, this is eye-opening to me about what coaching truly is and what it isn't. I've been thinking about being a coach myself, maybe from my desire to help other people, and this made me think deeply about what kind of work I want to be doing for others.
Everything we do is rooted in who we identify ourselves to be. So you made me realize that part of living is figuring out our identity, and it's interesting to see how we don't spend enough time thinking about it when it's so important.

Being coached transformed my life from frazzled to calm and productive. If you ever want to chat about the various avenues you can take to become a coach, my door is open. I have a few strong opinions about who to use and who to avoid when it comes to the various coach training programs. I'll give you a secret I wish I had known years ago, if you want to be a coach you need to have a coach. If not, you are a hypocrite. (I'm pointing the finger at myself right now.) Until then my man, be good or be good at it.
